Dark Corners is a collection of coffees from places where origin means more than just geography.

These are regions shaped by stories, myths and things people don’t easily talk about.

Uganda.
Land of mist.
Land of story.
Land of Walumbe.

This isn’t just origin.

This is......

The Walumbe Story

Long ago, the first man on earth, Kintu, fell in love with Nambi, daughter of the sky god Gulu.

Against her father’s warning, they left heaven together, but they were told to leave in secret, so one being would never follow: Walumbe.

On their journey, Nambi made one mistake.

She went back.

Walumbe saw her… and followed them to earth.

From that moment on, death entered the world.

He brought suffering, taking the children of Kintu and Nambi.

Gulu sent another son, Kayikuzi, to capture him.

But Walumbe escaped underground, creating deep pits across the land.

They say he never left.

He still hides beneath the earth, and when it shakes…

it’s because they are still fighting.

The Beans

BUGISU AA

High on the slopes of Mount Elgon, in eastern Uganda, this coffee is grown in the shadow of an ancient volcano.

At altitudes up to 2,600 meters, smallholder farmers cultivate slow-growing beans that develop exceptional density, strength, and depth. Only the largest are selected, AA grade, screen 17+ no compromise.

Fully washed for clarity and roasted to unlock what’s already inside.

In the cup: a rich body with sharp, wine-like acidity, layered with notes of chocolate, dark berries, and spice, finishing clean, but lingering long after the last sip.
